1. Taran Adarsh -
Rating Score -> 4/5
Real-life story that seamlessly blends drama, emotions, patriotism and aerial action... Several goosebumps-inducing moments... #AkshayKumar top-notch, #VeerPahariya confident... Outstanding finale. #SkyForceReview

2. Times Now -
Rating Score -> 3.5/5
While some may argue that Sky Force relies on tried-and-tested formulas, we believe it does it better than its predecessor. To put it simply, this is better than Hrithik and Deepika’s Fighter, which released in theatres on Republic Day 2024.

3. Times of India -
Rating Score -> 3.5/5
Sky Force stands out for its balanced portrayal of patriotism, avoiding overt sensationalism or antagonism. It pays homage to unsung heroes like Squadron Leader Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya, whose bravery is mirrored in Tabby's character. The film is a fitting tribute, making it a must-watch for those who are drawn to war dramas that blend action with heartfelt storytelling. A few bumps in the narrative aside, it’s a cinematic flight worth boarding.

4. Mid-day -
Rating Score -> n/a
Will you cry in those two hours? Possibly, but that could only be because of the story of Leader Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya and not because of how the makers have executed a well-written story.

5. News 18 -
Rating Score -> n/a
The aerial saga is a true Republic Day treat and it deserves a watch for its execution and treatment. It packs a punch without trying too hard and sets a precedent for a modern-day patriotic film where friendship and loyalty take a precedence over politics and ultra-nationalism.

6. First Post -
Rating Score -> 4/5
Sky Force creates a fusion of reel and real-life heroism, paying tribute to the sacrifices of India’s Air Force pilots. Offering a portrayal of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965, it highlights India’s first retaliatory airstrike.

7. DNA -
Rating Score -> 4/5
Sky Force works where Fighter failed. Akshay Kumar is back into action, and how? A perfect film for the Republic Day weekend, and it seems like Sky Force will be the first big hit of Hindi films in 2025.

8. Hindustan Times -
Rating Score -> n/a
Sky Force is a well-made film that leaves you pondering what makes our soldiers so selfless. That montage of the reel and real-life characters, in the end, will haunt you as you leave the theatres. It certainly did that to me.

9. The Week -
Rating Score -> 3.5/5
The film manages to keep you hooked right till the end and for that alone, Sky Force deserves applause. The music helps take the narrative further; and both the leading ladies in the film, Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur add substance to their own characters as well as the plot. This is a good watch, after a long time.

10. India TV -
Rating Score -> 3/5
Overall, if some scenes of Veer Pahadia and Sara Ali Khan can be ignored, then this is a film worth watching. Along with justifying the glorious Indian victory story, Sky Force also salutes the spirit of Indian bravehearts.

11. NDTV -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Sky Force is patchy, the acting is adequate - Akshay Kumar is obviously the fulcrum around which the rest of the cast revolves - and the quality of the storytelling inconsistent.

12. Indian Express -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Veer Pahariya should have been the lead of this film, not Akshay Kumar. Sky Force, coasting on the same elements as Fighter, except this one is a thinly-disguised account of a real life incident during the 1965 Indo-Pak conflict.

13. Komal Nahta -
Rating Score -> n/a
Sky Force is a fair entertainer but lack of momentum for the film (which has translated into terribly poor advance booking) will adversely affects its business. Collections will see a jump on Republic Day (Sunday) because the film is all about patriotism. But in the final tally, the film will remain a dull fare, business-wise.

14. India Today -
Rating Score -> 3/5
Sky Force is a satisfactory film. A paisa vasool entertainer, which has done its homework right. It might not give you an otherworldly experience like other big-budgeted war movies we have seen in the past. It is not your extravagant Mission Impossible or your vehemently zealous Border, but it has enough to keep you engaged.

15. Rediff -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
The nationalism of Sky Force is low key -- which is its weakness, as well as its strength -- and it does not manipulate the audience into a pre-decided hate-the-enemy response.
