Sky Force collected an impressive ₹25 crore net (approx) on Day 2, registering a remarkable jump of 65-70% compared to Day 1. This is a fantastic trend. With this, the film's two-day total stands at a solid ₹40 crore net. However, it's worth mentioning that the collections were aided by a few external factors. Let’s leave it at that, as similar practices have been observed in other films since early 2023.
The film is now targeting the ₹70 crore net mark for its opening weekend, and it is well on track to achieve that, given its superb start on Day 3 (Sunday). A ₹70 crore net weekend is a solid opening, but the trend from Monday onward will determine the film's long-term prospects.
So far, everything looks positive, and it seems like Akshay Kumar is finally making a strong comeback at the box office after a series of flops.
