Game Changer Movie Review
Star Cast - Ram Charan, Kiara Advani
Director - Shankar
Rating Score -> 3/5
Game Changer is a well-executed commercial film. Shankar's grand scale and Ram Charan's brilliant performance, combined with strong supporting roles and technical excellence, make it a compelling watch for enthusiasts of the genre.
2. Times Now -
Rating Score -> 3/5
Game Changer is like the quintessential masala entertainer. The film serves up a little bit of everything in its narrative — action, drama, music, romance, exotic locations and sentiment. The screenwriting could have been better. The action and the dialogue baazi make the film entertaining, but the predictable storytelling and and writing leave a lot to be desired in the political drama.
3. Hindustan Times -
Rating Score -> n/a
Game Changer is strictly average, even as you’re rooting for it to be something more. It succeeds in staying focused on what it sets out to do - call out corruption in Indian politics - but gives you nothing more. And after Shankar’s last outing, Indian 2, maybe that’s a win.
4. First Post -
Rating Score -> 2/5
Ram Charan’s earnestness is overshadowed by his inability to be as fluid or fragile as Rajinikanth or Chiyaan Vikram. He carries the role with one-note ease and barely breaks a sweat.
5. India Today -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Director Shankar's Game Changer, starring Ram Charan, Kiara Advani and SJ Suryah, is a handbook on electoral politics. The film looks spectacular, but the story is mediocre at its best.
