Pushpa 2: The Rule is a sequel that surpasses its predecessor in scale, storytelling, and emotional depth. Sukumar’s vision, combined with Allu Arjun’s powerhouse performance, layered narrative, breathtaking visuals, and stellar ensemble cast, makes it a cinematic triumph that demands to be experienced on the big screen.

4. Times Now -
Rating Score -> 3.5/5
All in all, Sukumar tried to up the game with strongly rooted characters and an absorbing narrative. Fans of Allu Arjun may be thrilled to see their favourite actor shaking a leg (in numbers like Kissik), but he truly shines when he’s in a tussle for power. For all its derivativeness, Pushpa 2: The Rule takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride with a riveting performance by Allu Arjun.

5. Hindustan Times -
Rating Score -> n/a
Pushpa 2: The Rule is entertaining, makes you chuckle and also feel something for its titular character, even if not flawless and has a shallow message about women's safety. And when you don't notice a runtime as long as this one, that’s a win.

6. Indian Express -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil film chokes under the weight of performance pressure. Throughout the film, Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil constantly strive to outdo each other, delivering outstanding performances without any dip in quality.

7. India Today -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Pushpa 2 is a decent sequel, but it could have had a stronger impact had it been concise. Additionally, reducing overindulgence would have allowed for a more flawed, human character rather than a superhero who defies gravity. Like Resul Pookutty hinted, the film ends with a lead into Pushpa 3.

8. Rediff -
Rating Score -> 4/5
Allu Arjun promises a rollicking ride of emotions -- from humour and romance to dance and emotions, action, and revenge, which is amplified by the presence of Fahadh Faasil, who rightfully deserves a plump role in the next: Pushpa: The Rampage.

9. The Hindu -
Rating Score -> n/a
Despite its long duration, Pushpa 2: The Rule leaves unanswered questions and ends on an abrupt and underwhelming note, leaving the stage open for part three, Pushpa - The Rampage.

10. First Post -
Rating Score -> 4/5
Allu Arjun once again hits the bullseye with his swagger king and makes you cheer and fall in love with Pushpa all over again. Right from his intense and powerful expressions to his charismatic swag, it’s Allu Arjun’s show all the way. Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli is cute and charming. Fahadh Faasil is simply superb but I still feel that his character was not written properly.

11. News 18 -
Rating Score -> 5/5
Pushpa 2: The Rule is a raw, wild, and action-packed extravaganza. With its gripping narrative, larger-than-life performances, and massy appeal, it’s the entertainer of the year. Don’t miss the chance to witness Allu Arjun’s brilliance on the big screen!

12. NDTV -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Pushpa Part 2 has the actor and the character in their elements all right. Allu Arjun is strikingly consistent. This is despite the fact that Pushpa's slanted shoulder does an inexplicable vanishing act after a point never to return although his personality-defining beard caresses are still very much part of the deal. However, the 200-minute movie turns into a bit of an exhausting ordeal when it gropes in the dark for genuine inspiration.

13. The Week -
Rating Score -> 2/5
A massive insult to intelligence and 'peelings'. The Allu Arjun-Fahadh Faasil film runs out of ideas and fuel in the final hour, where it takes an exasperating nose dive

14. Deeksha Sharma -
Rating Score -> 4.5/5

15. India TV -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Pushpa 2: The Rule lacks depth and a concrete storyline. Messed up in between too many narratives, the film struggles in pre-interval and climax portions. Despite that, the massy actioner has its high points, the jatra sequence being the topmost one.
