"Kalki 2898 AD" had fantastic advance bookings for Day 1. The response was outstanding, especially for the Telugu version in the Telugu states. Advances in other versions were also good. In the Hindi version, the film's advances were promising. Even in Tier 2 and Tier 3 locations, the advances were pretty good. Overall, more than 21 lakh tickets were sold for Thursday, with around 1.25 lakh tickets sold in national chains for the Hindi version alone. The film has already collected ₹55.5 crore gross from advance bookings. "Kalki 2898 AD" is all set for a terrific start at the box office.
