Rating Score -> 2/5
Shahid Kapoor-Kriti Sanon serve confused mish-mash of genres. Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon deliver confused film that combines sci-fi tropes with mushy Indian family drama.

This AI concept crashes due to faulty script. Shahid Kapur and Kriti Sanon's 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' explores love and artificial intelligence. The film offers a fresh pairing and blockbuster potential, but falls short due to poor writing and direction, says our review.
3. Times of India -
Rating Score -> 3/5
At a time when mega-scale action films are ruling the big screen, this one comes as a refreshing concept packaged with humour and good music. The situational comedy gets repetitive and doesn't take off as smoothly, but when it lands, it proves to be an entertaining fare.

Rating Score -> 4/5
It’s complicated. And yet so breezy! The weird title notwithstanding, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is a joyride. Original and unexplored, the plot is a pleasurable potpourri of flavourful fantasy as well as a mordant comment on loneliness and the search for a perfect soulmate.
5. First Post -
Rating Score -> 3/5
Seeing Shahid Kapoor back in a romantic avatar and Kriti Sanon nailing the role of a robot in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is indeed a fun watch. But it will definitely make you question if this is what we are heading for where AI will take over our lives.
6. News 18 -
Rating Score -> 3/5
Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya could have been a fresh, novel, out-of-the box narrative that could set a precedent and kick-start the genre of science fiction in mainstream Hindi cinema. But it turns out to be an unexciting, puzzling and a bit of a jarring experience. Nonetheless, it’s a good looking film.
7. Hindustan Times -

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is a rather bland and lacklustre affair that struggles to keep you engaged, and only tries to cash in on its good-looking lead pair. If anything, it's the three song and dance sequences in the film, and one in the end credit (title song) that might make it an enjoyable trip to theatres.

DISAPPOINTING. Rating: ⭐️⭐️ A difficult-to-absorb concept that’s marred by poor screenwriting [second half is a borefest]… Has few entertaining moments, that’s it… The ‘Wow Factor’ is clearly missing… Catchy soundtrack and some interesting moments [between #ShahidKapoor - #KritiSanon] are the only saving grace.

An Experiment Gone Awry. Once the novelty of the notion wears off - and that happens pretty quickly - there is little on offer here barring the fact that this is the first time that Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon have teamed up.
10. The Hindu -
Rating Score -> n/a
A social experiment with the heart of a sitcom. Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon submit themselves to a fantastic idea that doesn’t quite reach its potential, but provides moments of harmless fun as it probes the state of affairs in modern-day romance.
11. Rediff -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
For all its new age explorations, it's old-fashioned tropes of predictable outcome -- old folks and hospital scares, robots and software malfunctions, climax and special appearances -- never lets the script turn on its head.
12. India -
Rating Score -> 2/5
The movie mainly focuses on the approach of a futuristic love story, and needless to say, when it comes to romance, it will make you do mindless things, and the movie is living proof of it. Audience at the theater hall watched a human falling in love with a robot. But, after watching the film for a while, it is easy to realise that the film is a lost battle and you are trapped in it.
13. DNA -
Rating Score -> 4/5
There are a few shortcomings as well. Maybe giving more time to certain scenes, particularly the comic ones, would have made the film a lighter and better watch. But regardless, hats off to the conviction of makers for delivering a fresh family entertainer with a new jodi. Enjoy this mad-cap entertainer with your loved ones.
14. Khaleej Times -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
At times, one needs a flick that is worth the money of your popcorn. It need not break any new ground but its purpose is solved if it is easy on the mind and on your senses. So if a light, stress-free watch is your idea of a good time at the movies, then Teri Baaton Mein Uljha Jiya, ticks the boxes.
15. Komal Nahta -

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya may be somewhat entertaining but it will be rejected by the majority at the concept level itself and hence will find the going tough. Its poor title is a big minus point as a lot of people would not feel inclined to watch the film because of its irritatingly long and difficult title.
