Yeh kaunsi mathematics lagaatey hai pata nahi, bhai 1995 se Hindi Movies ke Boxoffice ko follow kar raha hoon par inka system samajh nahi Aaraha hai....
they are biased
ReplyDeleteDear Commentors, Dunki was a Clean Hit. (Whether Addatoday declares it HIT or not, doesn't matter)
ReplyDeleteIrrespective of the budget, movies are sold at the max possible prices. Yes, producers can make a good profit by selling a lower budget film even at low prices, but why would they leave money on the table? Big Exhibitors and Distributers also outsell eachother to remove competition from the market. They won't mind paying high prices to shutdown competition for good in the long run. If they are the only ones left, their debts will be tolerated too by banks. And they can pay and outcompete more easily. A vicious cycle, where rich get richer.
DeleteWith Raju Hirani's record and Pathaan & Jawaan, safe to assume the movie was sold big to big people, while competition watches.
Agar budget ke calculation se dunki superhit.. Hai..... Lekin uss calculation se dekha jaaye tab gaddar 2 .... 60 crore budget me 526 crore net business kya hai.. Aur jawan 250 crore ke aas paas budget me 588 crore hindi net collection ka business hai..... Gaddar 2 is sure shot huge profitable movie of Indian cinema.... After jai ma santoshi, dosti,...both was less budget movie.... But distributor price alag hota hai
ReplyDeleteDunki budget 100 crore but sell its higher price to distributor... Many single screen cinema loss me hai... So verdict.. Iska semi hit se jyada nahi ho sakta
Agreed 👍
DeleteHRK trying to play both multiplexes and masses, and getting neither. Katrina was underutilized in Bang Bang by Sid Anand and now Deepika in Fighter. Cringe jingoist dialogues by snobbish pseudo-liberal filmmakers turns off big city youth, while masses had no interest in "Patty". Some awareness that small town 'Prakashes' and 'Pravins' make up the air force core. Don't just milk sentiments for profits, South Bombay.
ReplyDeleteIt seems my prediction for Fighter going Wrong because of Mixed to negative side Word of Mouth in Real. I haven't seen Fighter because of Copy+Paste content from "Top Movie" - TOP GUN MAVERICK. Your Concept will never work in India if you make a Remake from Hollywood with Desi Bollywood Touch. I am not saying Fighter is not Good. But if you have watched Both Hollywood Blockbusters - 1 Top Gun 1986 & 2 Top Gun Maverick 2022 ( & I assume - Most Indian Cinema Going Audience already watched Both ), You will NEVER like Fighter even if it is Good. We have to accept that Real Word of Mouth for Fighter is Mixed to Negative side. Copy paste content from Hollywood movies never work in India. that's it. Harsh truth !
