Director #SiddharthAnand scores a hat-trick… Aerial combat, drama, emotions and patriotism, #Fighter is a KING-SIZED ENTERTAINER, with #HrithikRoshan’s bravura act as the topping… JUST DON’T MISS IT. #FighterReview

Rating Score -> 4/5
Fighter serves up a little bit of everything in its narrative — action, drama, music, romance, and even emotions. The screenplay makes room for every commercial movie element. Fighter is a perfect popcorn entertainment thriller that plays to the gallery and lives up to the hype.
3. Zoom TV -
Rating Score -> 3/5
Fighter emerges as a triumphant cinematic experience, combining a stellar cast, a gripping narrative, and breathtaking aerial sequences. Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor deliver standout performances, cementing the film's status as a must-watch blockbuster.
4. Komal Nahta -
Rating Score -> n/a
Fighter is not half as exciting as it should’ve been. It lacks the fire of an action film and the patriotic fervour of an India-versus-Pakistan film. As such, it will not be able to score at the ticket windows, considering its big budget, huge canvas and scale
5. India Today -
Rating Score -> 4/5
Fighter is a big-screen spectacle. When those birds soar high in the air, there is nothing that can take your eyes off the screen. Hrithik and Deepika set the screen on fire and I won’t be surprised if they become the go-to pair for big-ticket movies in the future. Siddharth Anand’s Fighter soars high on the entertainment quotient.
6. Times of India -
Rating Score -> 3.5/5
Fighter does not have much new to offer in terms of its plot and narrative. But it is an engaging fare, and if you are an action buff, the killer aerial combat sequences will leave you impressed.
7. Times Now -
Rating Score -> 3.5/5
This aerial actioner has the potential to spread patriotic fervour in the air, courtesy of its gripping narrative, mind-bending action scenes and goosebumps-evoking dialogues. From Hrithik unfurling the Tricolour as Sujlam Suflam plays in the background to his monologue teaching the terrorist what "Jai Hindi" means to every Indian, this movie is high on nationalism; but that's only one of the other reasons Fighter is worth watching.
8. NDTV -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Hrithik Roshan Does His Best To Lift The Film As High As He Can. Deepika Padukone is solid and completely at home in a predominantly man's world. Anil Kapoor's restraint adds a degree of gravitas to the film. But Fighter could have done with a more fearsome villain.
9. Hindustan Times -
Rating Score -> n/a
Fighter is a full-on entertainer that engages and excites in equal parts. It is high on patriotism but it never resorts to chest-thumping chants of Jai Hind or Hindustan Zindabad. The scene where Hrithik makes a reference to IOP (India Occupied Pakistan) in the climax certainly calls for loud cheers, and proves why Hindi films know best how to show love for their country.
10. Indian Express -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone make this drama-in-the-sky soar, jingoism pulls it down. Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone starrer succumbs to the current atmosphere of hyper-nationalism, which in turn weakens the film. Baaps don’t go around declaring who they are. They just know.

If you care for Hindi cinema, Fighter will delight and depress you in equal measure. Hindi action films have been an eyesore in our recent cultural output. They tend to lack coherence, fluidity, polish, photorealism. Anand delivers on all these fronts, but ultimately serves up a film that’s haughty and stunted, with the emotional maturity of a six-year-old. Watch Patty trash-talk his opposite number over the radio. They’re like kids exchanging insults in the playground, not disciplined aviators in a combat scenario. Is this what we have come to demand as a cinemagoing nation? I, for one, cannot wait for the box-office numbers to come in. Fighter feels the need, the need for greed.
12. Rediff -
Rating Score -> 2/5
Stupidity, not sky, is the limit for this superficial saga of valour whose understanding of heroics is as dense as the kajal in the eye of the enemy across the border.
13. First Post -
Rating Score -> 4/5
Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone-Anil Kapoor starrer is a big-screen visual extravaganza. The combo of Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and director Siddharth Anand gives a perfect Repubic Day treat to the cinegoers
14. Republic World -
Rating Score -> 3/5
Hrithik's Patty will grow on you while Deepika herself is down right drab. Siddharth Anand very consciously tries to strike a balance between cinematic flair fit for the big screen and heart-touching storytelling - but the former evidently overpowers the latter. Karan Singh Grover deserves a special mention as the jovial and charming yet fiercely patriotic Sartaj Gill.
15. India TV -
Rating Score -> 3/5
The aerial actioner was supposed to be more about action in the air. 'Fighter' showcases more drama on the ground than the sky. In the first half, the film also seems to be a bit slow but picks up around the interval portion. There are three or four heartfelt moments in the movie that will undoubtedly make people cry. Scenes with visual effects have been expertly portrayed by the director, and they don't look fake.
16. Outlook India -
Rating Score -> 3/5
'Fighter' combines elements of high-octane aerial stunts, suspense, and emotional depth that make it an engaging cinematic experience and big spectacle. It's a full paisa vasool movie. I am going with 3 stars.
