Rating Score -> 3/5
Dunki stands as a cinematic triumph, showcasing Rajkumar Hirani's directorial brilliance. The film's seamless blend of genres, coupled with Shah Rukh Khan's unparalleled performance, propels it into the realm of cinematic excellence.
2. India Today -
Rating Score -> 4/5
Dunki might not be Hirani’s best work in comparison to 3 Idiots or PK, but it still entertains and leaves you with a warm and fuzzy feeling as you leave the theatre
3. Indian Express -
Rating Score -> 1.5/5
Shah Rukh Khan’s collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani is a crashing bore. In the 161-minute run-time of the Rajkumar Hirani film, I was hard put to find anything that made me feel. Even Shah Rukh Khan’s Hardy comes off as working too hard for not enough pay-off.

Dunki is a film that leaves you with a tearful smile. And if you couldn't watch Animal with your families for the glorified violence, you must check out Dunki for it's an absolute family entertainer and will be an emotional riot.
5. Times of India -
Rating Score -> 4/5
'Dunki' is a wholesome entertainer that's rousing, relevant, romantic and about returning to your roots.
6. News 18 -
Rating Score -> 4/5
Dunki breaks the monotony and comes as a gush of fresh air. It is heartwarming, cheering, and uplifting reminds you, ‘Sab changa hai.’
7. Komal Nahta -

Dunki is a hit fare. It will have a reasonably long run at the cinemas as business in the weekends after the initial week or two will be very good on the strength of family and class audience.

Buoyed By Flawless Performances With Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu Leading The Way. In a memorable special appearance, Vicky Kaushal - he is cast as a man who has a pressing reason to seek a visa for travel to the UK - makes a strong impression.
9. Times Now -
Rating Score -> 3/5
Dunki is NOT a Shah Rukh Khan film but a Rajkumar Hirani film. At different points, the storyline captivates the audience but in the rest, it disappoints. Without a doubt, the casting of the film has been the best. When it comes to Shah Rukh and Taapsee's chemistry, it's average
10. Rediff -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Dunki Lacks Rajkumar Hirani's Touch. It's more like SRK babysitting a bunch of clueless kids running helter-skelter in a garden believing the grass is always greener on the other side.
11. Firstpost -
Rating Score -> 3/5
Dunki has a good message and it is a good way to wrap up the year with a film which makes you feel good, but it is definitely not Hirani’s best work especially when he has given us masterpieces like 3 Idiots and PK.

Shah Rukh Khan, Rajkumar Hirani’s Film Will Open Your Heart To Love And Emotions. Dunki is a heartwarming tale of hope and lost dreams. SRK, Taapsee Pannu, and Vicky Kaushal steal the show.
13. Addatoday -
Rating Score -> 3/5
"Dunki" emerges as a one-time watch, particularly for those seeking a casual cinematic experience. While the film offers a mix of humor and a few heartwarming moments, its overall impact is marred by forced emotions and an average execution.
14. The Hindu -

Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani deliver a drama that delights and drags in equal measure. In ‘Dunki’, Rajkumar Hirani’s first and long-awaited collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan, the purpose and social concern is laudable but the storytelling feels facile and laboured after a point
15. DNA India -
Rating Score -> 3/5
Hirani, Shah Rukh's well-intentioned immigration saga tugs at your heart but leaves you unfulfilled. Dunki banks on a clear concept, crisp story, and some fine performances but fails to reach the heights scaled by Rajkumar Hirani's previous works.
16. India TV -
Rating Score -> 3.5/5
Shah Rukh Khan rules as Hardy but Vicky Kaushal outshines all. Rajkumar Hirani is back on silver screens after five years and does not disappoint you, this time too. Shah Rukh Khan-Taapsee Pannu's film can be a good end for 2023.
17. Outlook India -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
‘Dunki’ isn’t Rajkumar Hirani’s best work. He has done way better films, which bumped up the expectations from this film. To add to that, this time he had Shah Rukh Khan for the first time. Yet, it didn’t live up to the hype.
18. The Week -
Rating Score -> 2/5
Dunki does take us into a deep dive of emotions via scenes that pull our heartstrings, but it does little to do the same throughout. Except for Vicky Kaushal's very strong special performance that lasts no more than a few minutes
