1. Taran Adarsh -
Rating Score -> 3.5/5
Dream Girl 2 is a joyride, its sole funda is to entertain… Has it all: Witty one-liners, cleverly-crafted situations, well-timed jokes and dollops of humour… A worthy second instalment.
2. Times of India -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Dream Girl 2 relies on familiar territory, often straying into unnecessary comedic tangents. Despite some standout performances and moments, the film falls short of recreating the quirky charm of its predecessor.
3. Times Now -
Rating Score -> 2/5
Dream Girl 2 fails to ring our dil ka telephone. And even when a scene comes close, it turns out to be a wrong number. We are going with 1.5 stars for this one but Ayushmann deserves the additional 0.5 rating.
4. Zoom TV -
Rating Score -> 2/5
The jokes are so weak that they hardly evoke a chuckle. And Ayushmann's monologue, much like the suhag raat scene with Main Nikla Gaddi Leke song, seems forced. Well, it is safe to say that Dream Girl 2 is worth missing if you aren't an Ayushmann Khurrana fan.
5. News 18 -
Rating Score -> 3.5/5
Dream Girl 2 has chaos written all over it and that’s its biggest strength. Sometimes, all you need is a light entertainer to unwind and laugh till your stomach hurts, and Dream Girl 2 is exactly that. This Ayushmann starrer truly deserves a watch.
6. First Post -
Rating Score -> 3.5/5
On the whole, Dream Girl 2 is an absolute entertainer lifted by amazing performances by the ensemble cast.
7. India Today -
Rating Score -> 3/5
On the whole, the overall experience of watching Pooja in her true element getting caught up in some crazy situations is quite fun. The jokes and gags (the Gadar 2 and BTS reference) are witty and some are downright funny. Ayushmann is why you will go to watch the film in the first place and he doesn’t disappoint. Watch Dream Girl 2 cause it’s silly and funny and a chuckle and some good laughter in a theatre never hurt anyone , right ?
8. India TV -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Ayushmann Khurrana, Ananya Panday's film is fusion of slapstick and WhatsApp jokes. Dream Girl 2's wait of decades is clearly visible as its advance bookings opened on Sunday and the response has been good so far. If film trade analysts are to be believed, the film can easily open at Rs 8 to 9 crore.
9. The Hindu -

Ayushmann Khurrana dresses and messes. Director Raaj Shaandilyaa piles on juvenile gags in this cross-dressing comedy without a coherent core
10. Rediff -
Rating Score -> 2/5
Dream Girl 2’s brainless fervour may cut Ayushmann Khurrana some slack but its hackneyed jokes are more exhausting to watch than him juggling between two sexes, feels Sukanya Verma.
11. NDTV -
Rating Score -> 1.5/5
Ayushmann Khurrana Does What He Can To Salvage A Stale Storyline. To the credit of Ayushmann Khurrana, he never gives the impression that he is on a sinking ship. He does not hold back one bit even when the writing lets him down.
12. DNA -
Rating Score -> 3/5
Ayushmann returns to form with mindless comedy, a throwback to best and worst of 90s' cinema. Dream Girl 2 is illogical and cringe in parts but still manages to entertain, largely because of Ayushmann Khurrana and the stellar support cast.
13. Komal Nahta -
Rating Score -> n/a
On the whole, Dream Girl 2 is an entertaining fare and will keep the audience and all parties concerned with the film happy.
14. Hindustan Times -
Rating Score -> n/a
Dream Girl 2 is full of massy humour and its sole intention is to entertain. And it more or less accomplishes that.
15. Indian Express -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Ayushmann Khurrana dives into drag with abandon, but the film is a stretch. The film works best when it has Ayushmann Khurrana unerringly bringing out the concept of ‘ardhanareeshwar’ so strongly and with such ease.
