Dream Girl 2 Advance Booking is Pretty Dull, Underwhelming First Day is on the Cards

The Advance Booking response for Dream Girl 2 has been less than anticipated. Despite the film coinciding with the successful releases of Gadar 2 and OMG 2, one would have expected a more promising advance booking considering these circumstances. Nevertheless, there's still one day remaining and the possibility for a surge in advance bookings.

Dream Girl 2 has predominantly focused its advanced bookings on premium multiplexes, especially in metropolitan areas and major cities. Unfortunately, even in these locations, the advance bookings have been lackluster up to this point. It seems that the movie will now heavily rely on positive word of mouth to drive its success. While there's a chance of a strong opening in double-digit figures, this will greatly hinge on a solid walk-in turnout on Friday. As of now, the projected opening stands within the range of 6-8 crores, which would indeed be a bit underwhelming.

In spite of the clash with Gadar 2 and OMG 2, Dream Girl 2 will secure an ample number of screenings. The pivotal question is whether the audience is enthusiastic about returning to theaters, especially considering that many have already watched either Gadar 2 or OMG 2 in the past few days, if not both.

Dream Girl 2 boasts a runtime of 2 hours and 13 minutes and has received a U/A certification from the CBFC.
