Zara Hatke Zara Bachke featuring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan is all set for a low opening at the box office this Friday. The advance booking of the film so far is poor. There is still one day left and anything can happen from now to tomorrow. But advances trend are not looking good. The film will depend more or less on word of mouth now.
Zara Hatke Zara Bachke trailer received mixed response from the audiences. Even songs received mixed responses. The film is looking more like an OTT release rather than a theatrical one. The ground level buzz is also not there although makers are doing everything to promote it prior to its release in theaters.
The film is set to get 2000 screens or beyond. There is no problem for screenings and shows. There is not much competition also as only Hollywood films are running in theatres in Fast X and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Released Today). The Kerala Story is also running in theaters but it is into the fag end of its theatrical run in India now.
ZHZB has some face value in Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan. Vicky gained some following post URI but lost it again with few mediocre release in between. Sara started her career with a bang with Kedarnath and Simmba but again lost somewhere post those releases. In a way ZHZB is a crucial film for both of these actors. Once the film releases we hope that content is on the positive side, otherwise it will be a tough road ahead.
