Pathaan has hit a hundred on the opening day as far as worldwide business is concerned. Thus, it has become the first Bollywood film to achieve this feat. The film has smashed all existing opening records and has created new benchmarks.
Pathaan collected 57 crore nett approx from all languages in India. Gross collection from India will be 68 crores approx. The film has added a whopping $4.5 million (INR 36.6 crores approx) from the Overseas market in a single day. It means worldwide business for the opening day is around 104.6 crores approx at this moment. As data are pouring in numbers could go higher in both the domestic and international markets.
Pathaan is simply unstoppable and it will create another new box office record on day 2 as it is a national holiday in the domestic market. As the film has received positive feedback from theatre-going audiences there is a big possibility that it will continue to smash records in the overseas market. A double century in two days is definitely possible now. Who would have predicted that prior to its release at the box office?
