Pathaan takes a good start at the box office on Friday (3rd day) as early samples for morning shows are coming in. Yes, there will be a drop as today is a working day and coming after a big national holiday. But that drop will be taken care of by single screens which are not opened yet and also by evening and night shows when audiences will come out in numbers.
Pathaan has opened to 20-25% occupancy in the morning shows today. For the same, Wednesday opening was 45% approx. It means a 50% drop is seen when day 3 occupancy is compared to day 1. That is a very good hold considering first day collections were simply historic.
Pathaan will be targeting 25-30 crore nett for the day. That looks like a bare minimum target. It can touch 35 crore nett or even go beyond considering how film fares on single screens. The drop in SS will be much less than multiplexes. But again SS were out of this world on the first two days and there is bound to be some drop now.
Pathana has accumulated a record-smashing 125-127 crore nett in the first two days. The film is on track to touch and go past the 150 crore nett mark in the first 3 days itself. The film will shatter all existing box office records for the first three days by miles.
