Drishyam 2 was simply unstoppable again on the 2nd Wednesday (13th day) as the film reported less than a 10% drop from the previous day. This has been the story for the weekdays. The film is not ready to slow down at the ticket counters and there is a big possibility of doing fantastic business in the third week also.
Drishyam 2 collected 4.7 crore nett approx on day 13. Thus, the drop from day 12 is around 8-9%. This is a fabulous hold! Drishyam 2 total business thus stands at 159.1 crore nett approx. The film is all set to touch the 160 crore nett mark on day 14 now.
The way film is moving at the box office should touch the elusive 200 crore nett mark inside week three. Lifetime collection is trending towards 225 crore nett finish. If the film continues its winning run in the third week then the 230-240 crore nett mark is also a possibility. Literally, the film has a free run till the big release of Avatar 2 even if there are new releases every week coming.
