There seems no respite for Cirkus as the film opened low again on the 1st Monday (4th day) at the box office. The film underperformed big time in the opening weekend and it looks like the story will remain the same for weekdays also.
Cirkus opened to 10-12% occupancy in the morning shows of day 4. For the same, day 1 occupancy was around 15%. It means an occupancy drop of 25-30% is seen. The business drop will be more as ticket prices are reduced today.
Cirkus collected a poor 20.75 crore nett approx in the first weekend. Ideally, the film should have touched or gone close to the 50 crore nett mark. It means the film has collected 40-45% of the par score. There is a possibility of a big drop on Day 4. If that happens it will be all over as the film will struggle even to touch the 50 crore nett in its theatrical run in India.
