Cirkus has fallen flat on Saturday (2nd day) at the box office. The film failed to show any kind of jump on day 2 and thus the game is almost over for the film. The film is totally rejected by theatre-going audiences despite Christmas eve. There is a good possibility that screens will be shifted to Avatar 2 and Drishyam 2 from Monday onwards.
Cirkus occupancy details for day 2 are given below. When samples of day 2 are compared with day 1 then occupancy is nearly the same with a minuscule jump of 0-5% seen. This is terrible considering the film needed a huge boost on day 2 and that was missing.
Cirkus Second Day Box Office Collection is heading towards 6.5-6.75 crore nett approx. These are early estimates from limited samples and the final count for the day may vary.
Cirkus two day total is heading towards a poor 13-13.25 (+/-) crore nett range. The film will struggle to even touch the 20 crore nett in the first weekend. Who would have predicted that prior to its release.
