Drishyam 2 Friday (1st Day) Box Office Collection Early Estimates, Big Growth in Evening and Night Shows

Drishyam 2 is showing a big growth in occupancy in the evening and the night shows and that means the film is now almost certain to touch or even cross the 15 crore nett mark for the day. If the film does well in interiors then box office numbers could go even higher.

This is absolutely fantastic news as it means the film is on track to emerge as a genuine Hit post-pandemic. Others are The Kashmir Files and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Brahmastra and Sooryavanshi are also Hit but their budget was on a higher level and hence their recoveries were dependent on the non-theatrical revenues.

Occupancy details of Drishyam 2 are given below for day 1. The film started well in the morning by reporting 30% occupancy. The film stayed solid at noon with 35% occupancy. However, it has recorded a big jump from evening onwards, and as per the latest film is registering an excellent 70-75% occupancy. This is outstanding stuff! Many shows in the evening and night are reported sold out or near about. 

This is coming from a 60-65 crores budgeted film. Actually, everything is going perfectly for Drishyam 2 on Friday. If the film shows further jump on Saturday and Sunday then the film has every chance of emerging as a Super Hit also. It is still early days as we have to still wait till Monday to see the trend but morning shows are day.

The early trend suggests Drishyam 2 First Day Box Office Collection is heading towards the 15-16 (+/-) crore nett mark. These are early estimates from limited samples and the final count for the day may vary. A large pool of data from interiors is awaited and if the film does well there then numbers could go even higher.
