Drishyam 2 Day 1 (Friday) Collection Update for Morning Shows, Takes a Strong Start

Drishyam 2 has taken a strong start at the box office in the morning shows of Friday (1st day). The film has opened well and the start suggests the film will easily touch the double-digit mark for the day. In fact, decent progress through the day will easily take it beyond that and collect much more than that. This has come as a big relief to the film industry which was ailing badly post-pandemic.

Drishyam 2 has opened to 30-35% occupancy in the morning shows today. This is fantastic as occupancy should increase further as the day progresses. Advances for the rest of the day are also good and don't be surprised if the film registers 50% or more occupancy for the evening and night shows.

Drishyam 2 has received thumbs up from the critics. Again that hardly matters as audiences don't give a damn about the critic's reviews. It is the audience report that matters and we will have an idea of that by the end of the day.

With such a start in the morning, Drishyam 2 is eyeing 14-15 crore nett for the day. It could go beyond that also if the film shows good growth in occupancy in the latter half of the day. Drishyam 2 has started well and a decent trending on Saturday and Sunday will take the film weekend total to a strong zone which will easily help it to emerge as a success at the box office.
