Bhediya has taken a slow start on 1st Monday (4th day) morning shows as early samples are coming in. Slow start is ok as today is a working day. But as the film has underperformed in the first weekend needs a good pick up from the evening onwards.
Bhediya opened to 10-11% occupancy in the morning shows of day 4. For the same, Day 1 occupancy was around 12-13%. It means an occupancy drop of around 15% is seen when only morning shows are considered. Ticket prices are reduced and hence, business drop will be more than that.
Bhediya has collected 28.35 crore nett approx in the first weekend. Numbers are below par and ideally, the film needed another 5-6 crores more. Anyways still all is not lost as the film can recover the ground on weekdays. Ideally, the film needed to collect at least 50-55 crore nett by the end of the first week. That looks like a tough ask now. Let's see how close the film can go. It has to go as much as close to the half-century mark to give it an outside chance. A 47-48 crore nett minimum by the end of week one. Anything less than that and it will be a big struggle ahead.
