Vikram Vedha had a decent hold on 1st Monday (4th day) at the box office. The film reported a drop of 45% which is a bit more than accepted. As VV performed below par on Friday needed a drop in the range of 30-40%. Here it is more than that.
Vikram Vedha collected 5.5 crore nett approx on day 4. Thus film total after four days is 42.8 crore nett approx. There might be some boost on Tuesday and a further boost on Wednesday, thanks to Dussehra Holiday. If the jump is good then the film will end the first week on a decent note. Otherwise, it will remain much below the par score.
Predicting the lifetime collection of VV is still tough. Once, Dussehra is over and 2nd Friday results are out we can make some assumptions. One thing is certain that film needs solid trending from here on to touch the 100 crore nett mark. It looks tough at this moment and only a big boost on Dussehra day will help the cause.
Collection Breakup -
Friday - 10 crore nett
Saturday - 12.8 crore nett
Sunday - 14.5 crore nett
Monday - 5.5 crore nett approx
Total - 42.8 crore nett approx

Trending is good now ..Verdict is Semi Hit as movie will now cross 100 crores in India alone
ReplyDeleteHow is that possible for movie budget around 170cr movie to be semi hit if it collection is around 100cr plus.
ReplyDeleteRaksha bandhan collection was around 45c India. 75cr budget but still flop.
ReplyDeleteVv life time around 100cr but still semi hit. R u Serous
DP for India theatrical is probably in the 60 Cr range. 100 Cr NBOC will put in the below average / average category. For semi-hit tag, it will need to earn 110-130 Cr, and 130 Cr+ for a clean hit tag.
DeleteAny movie must recover the cost more then 50% to become hit.
ReplyDeleteDP, not landing cost
DeleteThis movie will not cross 100cr.
