Vikram Vedha registered a good jump of 65% on 2nd Saturday (day 9) at the box office. Despite the growth, collections remained below par. However, at least there is a positive trend and hopefully, the film shows another one on the 2nd Sunday (day 10).
VV collected 3.95 crore nett approx on day 9. Thus, the film's total business currently stands at 65 crore nett approx. The film should go close to 70 crore nett or even touch it by the end of the second weekend.
Vikram Vedha's lifetime collection is trending towards an 85 crore nett finish. If the film shows a better trend then 90 crore nett is also a possibility. 100 crore NBOC is out of reach now unless there is a miraculous trend that continues till Diwali.
Collection Breakup -
Friday - 10 crore nett
Saturday - 12.8 crore nett
Sunday - 14.3 crore nett
Monday - 5.3 crore nett
Tuesday - 5.7 crore nett
Wednesday - 7.3 crore nett
Thursday - 3.25 crore nett
2nd Friday - 2.4 crore nett
2nd Saturday - 3.95 crore nett approx
Total - 65 crore nett approx

ReplyDeleteBudget of 175cr collection around 85cr lifetime. Not good. Movie had good reviews, no negatives still can't collect over 100cr. Totally flop
ReplyDeleteLSC if had solo release and no negatives 100 % that movie would go pass 150cr minimum. VV had no problem with release still struggling

ReplyDeleteI watched original Vikram Vedha few months before and while watching this Vikram Vedha i stop watching after Hrithik's entry in the movie after hearing the language. I was disappointed with the language using by Hrithik's character. I was expecting something extraordinary from Hrithik. By the way Vijay Sethupathi acted extraordinary in original Vikram Vedha (Far Far better than Hrithik).
ReplyDeleteWasted Hrithik and Saif in Vikram Vedha. Blame should be on Director.
ReplyDeleteIf you still not watch Original VV, go and watch on YouTube (It's available on YouTube). Enjoy the excellent acting of Vijay Sethupathi.
ReplyDelete3/5 good one time watch, but original is far better... 85-87 lifetime, flop
ReplyDeleteMovie becomes hit if the recovery the cost from cinema profit. Not ott and satellite deals otherwise every small budget movie will be hit.
