Thank God is released today in theatres and the film has taken a slow and low start at the box office in the morning shows. Samples are from multiplexes only and single screens reports are awaited.
Thank God has opened to 18-20% occupancy in the morning shows today. Occupancy is low and considering today is the day after Diwali, a minimum of 30-40% opening is needed. Occupancy is much low than that level.
We hope that the film picks up the pace from noon onwards and maintains a solid pace in afternoon and evening shows. Then only a decent first-day total will be on cards.
Thank God has managed decent screens across India despite clashing with Ram Setu. Hence, the potential is there and it is only about the footfalls now.
As for audience reports it is awaited at this moment. As start is low, we hope that audience reports are mostly positive and help the film to boost its box office collection in the coming days. As for critics reports it doesn't matter at all.

Bollywood must stop making crap movies and must learn from south industries (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada & Malayalam). A big salute to south Indian film industries for making good movies not only big budget movies but also their small budget movies are far far better than Bollywood's big budget story less, feeling less crap movies.
