Ram Setu had a below-average extended first weekend at the box office. Although the film started well on day one and showed a decent hold on day 2, but faltered badly from day 3 onwards. It was all downhill since then. The film did show some limited growth on Saturday and Sunday but that was simply not enough.
Ram Setu collected 7.75 crore nett approx on day 6. Thus, the film's total business currently stands at 55.95 crore nett approx. Ideally, the film needed to touch 70 crore nett at the end of Sunday. But the film has fallen short of a par score by 14-15 crores approx. This is significant.
Ram Setu Monday business is extremely crucial. If the film shows a good hold on day 7 then it has still some chance to have a decent lifetime collection. Otherwise, it will be all over for the film. A big drop on Monday means the film business will come down to a low level and a chance of touching a respectable total in its theatrical run will be out of the window.
Collection Breakup -
Day 1 (Tuesday) - 15.25 crore nett
Day 2 (Wednesday) - 11.4 crore nett
Day 3 (Thursday) - 8.25 crore nett
Day 4 (Friday) - 6 crore nett
Day 5 (Saturday) - 7.3 crore nett
Day 6 (Sunday) - 7.75 crore nett
Total - 55.95 crore nett approx
