Brahmastra performed reasonably on the 3rd Monday (18th day) at the box office. The film did register good occupancy thanks to lower ticket prices. But collections are strictly ok and could have been better considering the weekend performance. But again film is striking big in the weekend and staying low and quiet on weekdays and that has been the norm from the first week itself.
Brahmastra collected 1.9 crore nett approx from the Hindi version on day 18. Add another 10 lakh nett approx from the other languages. Thus, the film's total collection from all languages is 245 crore nett approx. The film collected 222.5 crore nett approx from the Hindi version itself.
Brahmastra should collect 226.5-226.75 crore nett approx by the end of the third week from the Hindi version. The film should do a business of 249.5 (+/-) crore nett approx from all languages by the end of week three. Brahmastra will emerge as a HIT most probably by the end of the fourth weekend depending on how it stands against Vikram Vedha.

Super hit movie. This shows that a movie can overcome all the negativity and boycott brigade if the content is good. Good news indeed for filmakers and film industry.
ReplyDeleteFor a film to be declared a hit/super hit/blockbuster number of footfalls should be taken into account and not the budget.
