Raksha Bandhan has registered a big drop in business on the second day (Friday) at the box office. The big drop is a big concern as the film has already underperformed on day 1. A big drop means day 2 numbers are also poor.
Raksha Bandhan collected 6.4 crore nett approx on Friday. The drop from Thursday was around 20-25% which is significant. As film underperformed on day 1 needed a drop in around the 10% range at the most. Raksha Bandhan's total business after two days is 14.6 crore nett approx.
In an ideal world film's first two days of business should have been 20 crore nett or thereabout. It means the film has fallen short of the par score by 5-6 crores approx. However, the real weekend starts now and film has every possibility to recover grounds now.
Saturday business needs to be better than both the first two days. Sunday and Monday (Independence Day) need to be in double digits. Then only the film will have some kind of decent numbers by the end of the extended weekend. Anything less and it will be a tough road ahead. Let's see how things unfold from Saturday onwards.
Collection Breakup -
Thursday - 8.2 crore nett
Friday - 6.4 crore nett approx
Total - 14.6 crore nett approx

ReplyDeleteChutiya isey big drop nhi significant drop bolte....Han collection lower side h but drop normal h...Holiday k baad 8crore se 6.50 crore is not bad but yes overall collection is not upto the mark. But in comparison to LSC its very good..LSC 11crore se sidha 7crore pe aa gyi h..that was called big or huge drop.
