Laal Singh Chaddha is reporting a normal drop of 20-25% on Wednesday (7th day) at the box office. A normal drop is of no use as the film has crashed on Tuesday and it is only the formalities that are left now. The film should cross the 50 crore nett mark and the lifetime business will wrap up at around the 60 crore nett mark.
LSC opened to a low 5-6% occupancy in the morning shows. The film reported a limited jump in the noon and registered 7-8% occupancy. The film again registered limited growth in evening and night shows and occupancy remained at around 10% or so.
As per the early trends, Laal Singh Chaddha Seventh Day Box Office Collection is heading towards a poor 1.5-1.6 (+/-) crore nett range. These are early estimates from limited samples and the final count for the day may vary.
Laal Singh Chaddha's total business at the end of day 7 is heading towards a 49.25-49.5 crore nett range. Box office performance of LSC is absolutely shocking. Even shocking looks like a good word when we see the business. A film starring Aamir Khan which was made on a big budget and released on an extended holiday period is struggling to touch 50 crore nett in India. Simply unexplainable stuff.
