Box office collection of Laal Singh Chaddha has registered a drop on Independence Day national holiday. Independence Day is one of the best days for films to score at the box office if not the best. Can you believe that? Yes, it is true to the core. Such is the dismal performance of Laal Singh Chaddha so far.
LSC collected 7.9 crore nett approx on day 5 (Monday). The drop from Sunday is 20% which is pretty significant. Ideally, the film should have seen growth but here it is exactly the opposite. Seriously business of LSC is going from bad to worse now with literally no hope as such.
LSC's total business currently stands at 45.85 crore nett approx. The film will touch 50 crore nett on day 6 or day 7 now. A lifetime collection of 75 crore nett looks an uphill task from here on. 100 crore looks like a distant dream now. Even that is not enough as the film needs much more than that.

Thursday - 11.7 crore nett
Friday - 7.25 crore nett
Saturday - 9 crore nett
Sunday - 10 crore nett
Monday - 7.9 crore nett
Total - 45.85 crore nett approx

ReplyDeleteSince many years bollywood not bringing out quality movies. just watch the movies in 70's 80's...you can watch them many times...the movies released in the last years you cant even watch once :-)...i am happy that the films flop big time...another reason is the music...the music falters since many years too...in the 90's all songs from an album were a hit...nowadays you are lucky if there is atleast once song in a quarter which you can listen many times...i personally like 2 songs from ek villain, but bec of starcast the movie flopped...the movie wasnt good as expected
