Laal Singh Chaddha is reporting a massive drop in occupancy on Tuesday (6th day) as early samples for morning shows are coming in. Most hilarious thing is that the massive drop is coming off from a very low occupancy level reported in the holiday weekend. It means film box office performance is going bad to worse now.
LSC opened to 6-7% occupancy in the morning shows today. For the same, Monday's opening was 19% or so. Friday occupancy was 12% or so. It means a drop of near about 50% is seen when samples are compared to Friday. The business drop will be even more.
Tuesday - 6-7%
Monday - 19%
Sunday - 20-21%
Saturday - 16%
Friday - 12%
Thursday - 15%
Laal Singh Chaddha accumulated 46 crore nett approx in the first five days of the extended weekend. The film should touch 50 crore nett by end of 1st Tuesday or by 1st Wednesday.
Day 6 business will give us an idea of where the film is heading in the long run. A 100 crore nett business looks unachievable at this moment going by the current trend. Even a 100 crore nett is not enough as the film needs much more than that to emerge as a success at the box office. A miracle only can save the film from here on.

For any film using words like “hilarious” (that drop is from low occupancy) is not just derogatory but very unprofessional .. so many people would have put there bread and utter in these two films and addatoday finds this a laughing stock .. disgusting .. your occupancy is also going to go down hilariously in some time with all these unprofessionalism and biased reporting
