Ek Villain Returns has seen a significant drop on Monday (4th day) at the box office. The film reported a drop of 55-60% from Friday which is more than expected. It means the film will now struggle to put up a respectable theatrical total in India.
Ek Villain Returns collected 3 crore nett approx on day 4. Ideally, the film needed to register a drop of 40% or even less as Friday numbers were just decent. It means film ideally needed to collect 4-4.5 crore nett approx on Monday.
Ek Villain Returns total business after the fourth day stands at 26.5 crore nett approx. Film's first week business is now trending towards the 33-33.5 crore nett range. Film's lifetime collection is heading towards the 40-45 crore nett mark depending on how it performs on the 2nd Friday.

Friday - 7 crore nett
Saturday - 7.5 crore nett
Sunday - 9 crore nett
Monday - 3 crore nett
Total - 26.5 crore nett approx

Looks like theatrical collection will only be approx half of it's budget. Another theatrical Flop unfortunately.

ReplyDeleteThe inflation is huge and ticket rate is higher than 8 years back, still it collects much under the first part. Film industry still call it a sucess after weekend collection 😅
