Ek Villain Returns has put up a decent first weekend at the box office. The film did show a decent jump on Sunday (day 3). Now it is all up to the weekdays and if the film shows a solid hold on Monday (day 4) then the film has a good chance of emerging as a success at the box office.
Ek Villain Returns collected 9 crore nett approx on the third day. The jump from Saturday is around 20% which is actually pretty good. Thus, the film's total business currently stands at 23.5 crore nett approx.
Ek Villain Returns lifetime collection will depend on the hold film sees on 1st Monday (day 4). The film has a literally free run till the big releases coming on 11th August. A decent to good Monday will help the film to post a decent lifetime business at the box office.

Friday - 7 crore nett
Saturday - 7.5 crore nett
Sunday - 9 crore nett
Total - 23.5 crore nett approx

DeleteIf the budget is 70-80cr, and it doesn't collect that amount in theatrical revenue, it has to be called a theatrical Flop.
ReplyDeleteThe film wont earn more than 70 cr....the first week will be in the range of 35 cr..second will be half of it. next week friday Laal Singh and Raksha Bandhan is releasing, so its game over for Ek Villain Returns as no space for screens anymore
