Thor: Love and Thunder takes a very good start at the Indian box office and is all set to emerge as a HIT unless there is a collapse on the second day (Friday), which is very unlikely to happen.
Thor registered around 45% occupancy for day 1 (Thursday) which is pretty good. The film collected 18.6 crore nett approx on the first day.
Hollywood films are dominating the Indian market and Thor is another feather in this elusive club. Thor has every chance on holding well on Friday and then see jump on Saturday and maybe some on Sunday.
With such a start, a 75 crore NBOC is very much on for the extended weekend. It means the film should emerge as a HIT by the end of the weekend itself. The film has every chance of touching 100 crore NBOC in India. If film shows decent to good trend then 125-150 crore nett business in India is also a possibility.
These are early days. The start is good and now let's focus on day 2. If the film holds well on day 2 then 100 crore nett business will be a cakewalk for the film.
