Thor: Love and Thunder have taken an excellent start at the Indian Box Office as early samples for morning and noon shows are coming in. The film is reporting very good occupancy and there is no doubt that evening and night shows will register even better occupancy.
Thor opened to around 30-35% occupancy in the morning shows today. The film showed growth in the noon as it is reporting occupancy of 40-45%. Overall occupancy for the day so far is 35-40% which can easily increase as the day progresses.
The way film has started a 15 crore nett for the day looks almost a certainty considering film shows a decent jump in occupancy in the evening and night shows. A 17-18 crore nett looks the real trend. A 20 crore nett is also a possibility but for that to happen film needs to show some good momentum in the remaining shows of the day.
Anyways Thor has taken an excellent start in India on a working Thursday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are still to come. A huge extended opening weekend is on cards now. A 75 crore nett weekend is very much on with a decent to good trend through the weekend.
