Samrat Prithviraj has registered a colossal drop in the second week despite there being no major film released last week. The film has been completely rejected by the audiences. The film is now struggling to even touch 70 crore nett business in India which is simply unbelievable.
Samrat Prithviraj collected 10.7 crore nett approx in week two. The drop from the first week is 80% which is simply colossal. Film added 7.25 crore nett approx on weekend and the rest on weekdays. Thus, the film's total business currently stands at 65.75 crore nett approx.
Samrat Prithviraj is a big flop. In fact, it challenges another big flop of the year Bachchhan Paandey which also starred Akshay Kumar in the lead role. Both films were from the biggest banners of Bollywood and were made on a big budget. In fact, Samrat's budget was in excess of 200 crores and it needed a minimum of 175 crore nett business from India alone. A huge opportunity wasted. Epic disappointment.
