Major Hindi has taken a slow start at the box office on Monday (4th day) as early samples are coming in. Slow start means the film is now going nowhere and will emerge as a flop in the Hindi version. Yes, the trend of the film is better as the drop from Friday is nothing or minimal.
Major has opened to 8% occupancy in the morning shows of day 4. For the same, Friday opening was 8-9%. It means an occupancy drop of less than 10% is seen when morning samples are compared. The trend is good but it is of no use as Friday collections of the film were poor.
Despite starting slow Major Hindi version had a chance to survive had Monday collections were close to Sunday numbers. However, the morning show suggests the film will see a significant drop from Sunday. It means collections of Major for Monday will be under 1 crore nett and that is not acceptable.
