Major Hindi version has taken a slightly better start on Saturday (2nd day) at the box office as early samples are coming in. However, collections are still at a low level and film needs a big push on Day 2.
Major has opened to 10-12% in the morning shows today. For the same, Friday's opening was around 8-9%. A jump of nearly 25% is seen when only morning shows are compared. As the film has collected low at the box office, it needs a big growth of 40-50% or even more. Then only film has some chance.
Major is getting positive responses from both critics and audiences. That is good news. It suggests there may be some pick-up from today onwards. However, so far the box office push is missing. We hope that word of mouth picks up quickly before it is too late.
