Major Hindi version has taken a poor start at the box office as early trends for the first day are coming in. The film did manage to get a significant screening in Hindi across India. But the film has failed to use its potential as it recorded low occupancy all through the day. The film can still recover ground but for that need a big push on Saturday (day 2).
Major opened to low 8-9% occupancy in the morning shows. The film failed to show any jump in the noon and reported 9-10% occupancy. The film did manage to show some kind of jump from evening onwards. But again jump is limited. As per the latest film is reporting 15-20% occupancy.

Noon - 9-10%
Evening-Night - 15-20%
The early trend suggests Major Hindi Day 1 Box Office Collection is heading towards a low 1.25-1.5 (+/-) crore nett range. The film may collect a little more than that if it performs well in night shows and interiors.
