Jurassic World: Dominion, the big Hollywood release is leading the screen count fight this week in India ahead of other new releases Janhit Mein Jaari and already running Prithviraj and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. A Hollywood release is again ruling the Indian Box office and this has been a norm for some time now.
Coming to Jurassic World now. The film has managed to get around 1800 screens across India. This is more than enough to make big inroads into the Indian Market if the film gets good occupancy. A good first weekend is on cards if the film shows a good jump on Saturday and Sunday when family audiences will come out in numbers.
Prithviraj has lost the majority of its screens from the first week which is pretty obvious as the film underperformed. Still, it has got 1000 screens approx as there are no major releases happening this week. The film can still do well if it gets good occupancy. The potential is there but will it transform into box office numbers? We will have an answer by the end of the day.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 dream run is all set to continue in the fourth week also. The film has managed to retain most of its screens. BB 2 has managed to retain around 900-950 screens for week four. There is no doubt that the film will rock again at the box office.
The new release Janhit Mei Jaari has got 700-750 screens approx which is good enough considering the film's face value. Other Hindi dubbed releases Vikram and Major screen count is now below 500.
