JugJugg Jeeyo had a decent start to the box office campaign on day one. Although collections are decent occupancy was average and needs to pick up on day 2 to put up a healthy first weekend total.
JJJ added 9.25 crore nett approx on Friday. The film reported an occupancy of 25% for day one. The film was released in around 3400 screens approx and that helped the film total despite an average footfall.
The first day collection of JJJ is on par or a little under par. Still, it is not a bad start if the film shows good growth on Saturday and Sunday. A 30% jump on Saturday and a further 10-15% jump on Sunday will take the film to a respectable opening weekend score.
As for word of mouth. Both critics and the audience's word of mouth is mixed to positive. The ground-level response will be known by end of Saturday depending on the growth film sees. A normal trend will take the film to the 35 crore nett range. A good trend will take the film close to the 40 crore nett mark. If film remains flat then the opening weekend number will end up at around 30 crore nett mark.
