Doctor Strange: In The Multiverse of Madness has taken a bigger start on Sunday (3rd day) morning shows. The start is better than both Friday and Saturday. This is fantastic and it means a huge Sunday on cards now.
Doctor Strange 2 opened to 55-60% occupancy in the morning shows of day 3. For the same, Saturday opening was around 45-50%. It means a growth of 20% is seen when only morning shows are considered.
Doctor Strange should challenge 30 crore nett for the day. A 35 crore nett is also a possibility but for that film needs to register excellent occupancy all through the day. An 85 (+/-) crore nett opening weekend is definitely on cards now. The film's excellent business in the first three days so far has ensured that Doctor Strange 2 will emerge as a HIT in India. The question remains whether film can emerge as a Super Hit or even Blockbuster in the coming days or not.
