Doctor Strange 2 First Weekend Box Office Collection in India, It's Very Good

Doctor Strange: In The Multiverse of Madness had a very good first weekend in India. The only issue is the trend is not looking good and we may see a big drop in business on the weekdays. Despite that job is done and the film will emerge as a HIT in India.

Doctor Strange 2 collected 25 crore nett approx on Sunday (3rd day). The film has reported drop in business from both Friday and Saturday. That is not a good sign as films do push for at least a 15-20% jump on Sundays.

At one point in time, it was looking like the film was going towards the 28-30 crore nett mark. But the film did register a big drop post evening shows in the multiplexes. Also, the film did average business in interiors. Which meant Sunday box office numbers came down from a 28-30 crore nett range to 25 crore nett.

Doctor Strange 2 collected a very good 78 crore nett in the first weekend. The film should touch 100 crore nett in India unless there is a big collapse on Monday. Let's see how things progress on weekdays.
