Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 had a good First Day at the box office. The film collected a very good 14.1 crore nett approx on day one. The film did very well in the multiplexes of metros and big cities. Single screens performed strictly ok and because of that, the actuals have come lower than the estimates.
However as the word of mouth of the film picks up, the single screen should also join the party soon. BB 2 is easily one of the biggest openers of the year 2022. It is only behind the Hindi dubbed films KGF 2 and RRR. It is ahead of all the rest films.
BB 2 reported an all India occupancy of around 40-45% occupancy for Friday. That is very good considering the film got released in excess of 3000 screens and Friday was a normal working day. The film is bound to see growth on Saturday, especially in the multiplexes. Single screens should remain flat or may see some drop.
BB 2 is eyeing the 30 crore nett mark by the end of Saturday. If everything goes well film should touch 50 crore nett for the first weekend. As for the lifetime collection, it is hard to tell at this moment. 1st Monday (day 4) will give us some idea on that. As if now film is on track to emerge as a HIT and also to touch 100 crore nett mark in India.
