Anek had a poor first day (Friday) at the box office as early trends for the day are coming in. The film is reporting very low occupancy all through the day. There is a growth seen in evening shows but the jump is limited again.
Anek opened to a poor 7-8% occupancy in the morning shows today. Film reported a low 10-15% occupancy in the noon shows. The film showed a limited jump from evening onwards and as per the latest reporting occupancy of around 15-20%.
Anek 1st Friday Occupancy Report (Samples only) -
Morning - 7-8%
Noon - 10-15%
Evening-Night - 15-20%
The early trend suggests Anek's first day collection is heading towards the 1.5-1.75 (+/-) crore nett range. This is simply shocking to say. Kindly note that these are only early estimates and the final count for the day may vary as interiors and night shows reports are awaited.
Anek has taken a very poor start and unless there is a miraculous jump on Saturday (day 2) it is all over for the film.
