Anek had a very poor first weekend at the box office. The film started horribly on day one and remain flat on day two. The film registered a drop on Sunday despite having a poor Saturday, which is a rarity nowadays.
Anek added 2 crore nett on day 3 at the box office. The film's total collection at the end of the first weekend stands at 6.3 crore nett approx. Ideally, the film should have collected 15-20 crore nett for the opening weekend.
Anek might see a big drop on 1st Monday despite collections are already at a low level. Film first week business is heading towards 8-9 crore nett range and lifetime business will wrap in around 10 crore nett or less. The film is a big disappointment at the box office.
