Anek is going nowhere at the box office as the film has failed to show any kind of jump on Sunday (3rd day) morning shows. This is extremely devastating news as another film is all set to bite the dust now. The fall on 1st Monday is inevitable going by the weekend trend.
Anek opened to 10% occupancy in the morning shows of day 3. When samples are compared to day 2 there is no growth as such is seen. This is after the film performed very poorly on day 2. The film is totally rejected by the initial trends so far.
Anek Occupancy Report for Morning Shows (Samples only) -
Sunday - 10%
Saturday - 10%
Friday - 7-8%
Anek has collected 4.25 crore nett approx in the first two days. Film's first weekend business is heading towards the 5-5.25 crore nett mark now. Ideally, that should have been first day collections. Looks like the film lifetime business may wrap up under the 10 crore nett mark now. Dhaakad is a disaster and it looks like Anek is also heading towards another one. Although makers will recover their investment from the non-theatrical revenues such as digital and satellite rights.
