Attack had a poor first day (Friday) at the box office. The film has started poorly and now needs a big push on Saturday (2nd day) and a further jump on Sunday (3rd day) to post a decent total for the opening weekend.
Attack has collected a poor 3.5 crore nett approx on day one. Film reported an occupancy of 15% on average for the day which is extremely low. Hope the film recovers ground on day 2. Otherwise, it will be game over.
Ideally, Attack needs a jump of 50% or even more on Saturday (2nd day) considering Friday numbers were pretty low. A limited growth on day 2 will not help the film's cause. A 15 crore nett or more for the weekend will give the film some respectability and a chance to march ahead on weekdays. Will that happen? We will have some idea on that by the end of the day.
Attack audience's word of mouth is relatively on the positive side. That is some good news. But again these are initial trends and real ground level word of mouth will be known in a day or two. As for critics' word of mouth, it is on the mixed side. Anyways critics' word of mouth hardly matters for anyone as it has zero effect on the box office collections.
