The Kashmir Files is reporting a solid hold on Second Monday (11th day) at the box office as early trends for the day are coming in. The film is reporting a minimal drop from the 2nd Friday, which was a Holi holiday. This is fantastic and looks like The Kashmir Files will rule the second weekdays also.
The Kashmir Files opened to 25-30% occupancy in the morning shows today. The film reported big growth in noon time and recorded very good 45-50% occupancy. The film has reported a further jump from evening onwards and as per the latest reporting 60-65% occupancy. This is terrific!
The early trend suggests TKF should touch the double-digit mark for the day. In fact, at this moment film 11th Day Collection is heading towards an 11-12 (+/-) crore nett finish. That is simply outstanding stuff. Again these are early estimates and lots of data from interiors are awaited. Hence, the final count for the day may vary.
The Kashmir Files total collection at the end of day 11 is heading towards 178-179 (+/-) crore nett approx. If the film does outstandingly well in interiors then the total business can even touch 180 crore nett mark.
The Kashmir Files will touch 200 crore nett business by the end of 2nd Wednesday (day 13) or by the start of 2nd Thursday (day 14). A solid hold on 2nd Monday has ensured that film will now go past 250 crore nett in India. This also gives the film a chance to do 300 crore nett business or more in its theatrical run in India. Again all depends on how the film holds its own against the might of RRR which is releasing this coming Friday.
