RRR Hindi version has taken a strong start on 1st Monday (Day 4) Morning shows as early samples are coming in. This is extremely good news and the early sign is that RRR should pass the Monday test with elan.
RRR is carrying a hefty budget. Hence, the film needs to do very well in the Hindi version. In an ideal case scenario, the RRR Hindi version needs to do business in excess of 200 crore nett in India. Opening weekend has helped the film to recover big ground and now it is up to the weekdays to hold the fort.
RRR took an opening of 25-27% occupancy in the morning shows of the 4th day. For the same, 1st day occupancy was around 31%. When samples are compared occupancy drop is minimal for the morning. But Friday registered a big jump in the latter half of the day and we hope that story remains the same for Monday.
Another concern is that ticket prices are significantly reduced today and hence, business drop will be much more than occupancy drop.
