Gangubai Kathiawadi has taken a slow start on Day 7 Morning shows as early samples are coming in. Drop is a little bit more than usual from Wednesday (Day 6) and it may be because of the fact that the film technically got 5 days of the extended weekend.
Gangubai Kathiawadi opened with 8-10% occupancy in the morning shows of Thursday. The drop from the previous day is around 25%. Generally, a drop of less than 20% is touted as ok. But here it is a bit more than that. Hopefully, the film will recover ground as the day progresses.
Gangubai has so far collected a very respectable 63.5-64 crore nett approx in the first six days. Film's first week collection is heading towards a very healthy 69 (+/-) crore nett range. Gangubai is on track to touch 100 crore nett in India and for that to happen it needs solid hold on 2nd Friday (day 8).
