Gangubai Kathiawadi has taken a very good start on Second Sunday (Day 10) Morning shows as early samples are coming in. Opening is much better than both 2nd Friday and 2nd Saturday.
Gangubai opened with 30-35% occupancy in the morning shows. For the same, the 2nd Saturday opening was around 20%. It means an excellent growth of 50-60% is seen when only morning shows are taken into account.
Gangubai should show a further jump in the day shows. There will be some drop in occupancy in the night shows and that is obvious as tomorrow is Monday.
Gangubai has collected 82 crore nett approx in the first 9 days. The film is all set to cross the 90 crore nett mark by the end of the second weekend. It should touch the 100 crore nett mark before the end of the second week. Good trending in the second week has ensured that the film will emerge as a success at the box office.
